Faxly works for everyone. That’s the job.
Many of our customers are older, low-vision, or simply not comfortable with technology — accessibility isn’t a compliance checkbox for us, it’s the product. We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the whole service.
Built in, by default
Large targets. Buttons and controls are at least 44px — most are much bigger.Readable text. Body text is 15px or larger with AA contrast, and the layout respects your browser’s zoom and text-size settings up to 200%.Keyboard first. Every step of sending a fax works without a mouse, with visible focus outlines.Screen readers. Form fields are labelled, status changes are announced, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive tech.Plain language. No jargon, no acronyms without explanation, and error messages that say what to do next.No time pressure. Nothing in the send flow expires or times out while you work. Motion is minimal, and animations respect your reduced-motion setting.
Where we’re still improving
PDF delivery receipts are not yet fully tagged for screen readers — a fix ships this year. Some older help articles predate our plain-language rewrite. If you hit anything else, we want to know.
